blah... a poem

(sorry it’s kinda sulky, I really am ok and happy right now, but my writing doesn’t want to be)

Another day on the edge,

the bad lies below,

I hang on the fringe,

pray it’s not my time to go,

cause, today I am loosing,

tomorrow I’ll be lost,

and down the rabbit hole,

so despairingly be tossed,

Can’t stop myself from falling,

there’s no help to hear my calls,

so I keep on fighting outward,

inward preparing for the fall,

you may hear me at the bottom,

you may notice the small lack,

the happiness behind my eyes,

captured now, and downward trapped

I can pick myself up after,

crawl out and fight again,

but the fall is hard to bear,

and the landing hurts my skin,

It’s a tango danced in times before,

a game I never win,

drink the potion,

time to fall,

depression,

wonderland?

You’re a good poet.
